Julia leads the Title IX team and oversees and coordinates Tulane’s initiatives to sustain a safe climate for all university community members free from sex discrimination, sexual harassment, and sexual violence.

Michelle Coxen-Sanchez 

Deputy Title IX Coordinator

Associate Director

Michelle works closely with the Assistant Provost for Title IX Compliance and Education to advance Tulane’s efforts to prevent and address sexual misconduct. Michelle ensures compliance, leads outreach, and develops education and training initiatives that raise awareness of Title IX. She engages students, faculty, and staff to ensure they are informed, supported, and empowered.

Austen Williams 

Title IX Program Administrator

Austen manages projects for the Title IX office related to outreach, education, communication, and prevention programs on sexual misconduct. She collaborates with the planning and execution of events, prepares data and reports, leads trainings, and serves as a liaison with students, employees, and other constituents.

Kristen Fransen

All In Program Administrator

Kristen oversees Tulane's All In campaign, aimed at combating sexual violence, within the Title IX Office. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, campus outreach, social media content, website management, facilitating communication between the Title IX Office and various partners, supporting the Assistant Provost for Title IX Compliance and Education, and handling logistics for meetings and events.

Contact the Title IX Office

The Title IX Office’s main location is in Jones Hall, suite 308, on the Uptown campus.  The Title IX Office also maintains a satellite office in the Tidewater building on the Downtown campus and can meet there by request.  The Title IX Office has limited capacity for walk-in meetings but is generally available to schedule a phone call, Zoom meeting, or in-person meeting for the same day or the next business day.
